OVERVIEW

The Process Service Attendant is responsible for responsibilities associated with Building 3 operations.

 

 

DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Granular Carbon filter regeneration
  • Granular Carbon furnace operation
  • Granular Carbon Transport, Hose Changes and Filters Sweetening on/off.
  • Forklift Trained (relocation process chemicals and ingredients, trash as needed)
  • HAZMAT Trained (handling process chemicals)
  • Work safely with emphasis on quality and environmental parameters
  • Netzsch filter cleaning as needed.
  • Lime Dumping (20% tank)
  • Using the computer system to operate refinery equipment.
  • Take Samples to the lab.
  • Assist in Startup and Shutdown Jobs
  • Assist in spill cleanup and general area cleaning.
  • Perform tasks as directed by process supervision.
  • Work and training assignments are made at the discretion of management based upon the needs of the company and the individual’s ability, knowledge, skills, and training needs.
  • Ability to:
    • lift up to 50lbs.
    • use hands and arms to reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and manipulate materials and tools.
    • walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, stoop, crawl, and climb constantly throughout the shift.
    • reach, bend, twist, rotate, push, and pull frequently.
    • work in confined spaces
    • work independently as well as a team player.
    • climb up and down ladders.
  • Work Night, weekends, and Holidays shifts
  • Basic computer skills

 

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience working at a manufacturing site.
  • Operating a forklift

 

ESSENTIAL CAPABILITIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES)

  • Must be able to perform tasks such as climbing, lifting, and standing for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to perform tasks while wearing all required PPE such as but not limited to protective clothing, safety glasses/goggles, steel-toed boots.
  • Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.

 

Pay Rate $20.46 /hr

 

 

This is a unionized plant and wages are determined by our collective bargaining agreement. $20.46/hr is the hourly wage for this position.
